THE EXHIBITION
WILLEM VOS IN CHONGQING.
From 28 November 2023 to 28 February 2024, a selection of Willem Vos’s paintings was presented at the Hong Art Museum in Chongqing, China.
The works formed part of Transcendence: A Fusion of Art and Culture, the Fourth Chongqing International Modern and Contemporary Art Exhibition. The exhibition brought together paintings, sculpture, installations and multimedia works by artists from different countries.
For Willem, it marked the first presentation of his work in China and the opportunity to experience how the paintings were received by a new audience.
